Freshers' Party 2018-19

The Department of Commerce of PGDAV College
(Eve) organized a Freshers’ party for the first year students on 31 st Aug 2018, under the supervision of
Sh. Ramesh Kumar.
· The function started with an informatory
speech regarding opportunities in Stock Market ; delivered by Mr. Vijay Kaushik (an expert in Stock Market), followed by the lightening of the lamp by the Principal Dr. RK Gupta and other commerce faculty members.
· The competition of Mr. and Ms. Fresher 2018
got started, where in the first round, girls introduced themselves with the sizzling ramp walk followed by boys. The second round was the fun round in which the participants acted on childhood poems followed by the final round of rapid fire. In the meanwhile, a
number of singing and dancing performances took place to make the party more
captivating.
· By the end, the titles were awarded to the
students by the teachers where, Bhavya Nasa won Ms. Eloquent, Anushka Sharma won Ms. Chulbuli, Priya Chakoti won Ms. Gorgeous, Akshit Kothari won Mr. Debonair, Mohit Singh won Mr. Bindaas, Sanyam Joshi won Mr. Eloquent and finally Rishabh Narula won Mr. Fresher and Sakshi Garg won Ms. Fresher.
· Later, the students as well as teachers set
the floor on fire with their dance moves. The party turned out to be a great success
and became the very first overwhelming memorable event of the college life of the freshers.
