Collaboration with Vittshala
Commerce Association of P.G.D.A.V. College (Eve.) Collaborted with Vittshala:The financial literacy society of Sri Ram College of Commerce . Collaboration was made for the project" Umeed" providing an insight to Grade lV workers about financial literacy .
The collaboration took place on 25 September 2019 in the college premises of P.G.D.A.V. college
Project Umeed , an initiative by the students of SRCC to provide knowledge and exposure to Grade lV workers about the various financial plans to uplift their status in society . Volunteers of Vittshala along with the team of commerce association made it possible to reach each and every worker of the college who is directly or indirectly forms an indispensable part in maintaining the discipline and sanitation in the college premises . The team elaborated about various schemes by government in the aspects of investment like Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana,Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana , pension schemes etc. aiming at preserving their hard earned income with more returns . Along with providing them the required knowledge , questionnaires were filed with their basic details about family background , occupation, workdetails etc. and brochures were provided to them for further reference .
The program went well by fulfilling the objective of financial literacy to the workers .
The program wrapped up with a beautiful picture session with the volunteers of SRCC along with the members of Commerce Association.
