REPORT OF
THE ECO QUIZ 20th and 23rd September, 2019.
The Kautilya Parishad(Department of Economics) organised the ‘Eco-Quiz ' under
the convenorship of Ms Geeta Ahuja. It was held in two rounds - Preliminary and
Finals.
A total of 16 Teams consisting of 3 students each from B.A. Programme, 1st,
2nd and 3rd year participated in the preliminary round, which was held on
20th September, 2019. Out of these 16 , six teams were selected for the finals.
Questions from Macroeconomics and Microeconomics were asked in the prelims
while the final round consisted of questions from Indian Economy.
The final round was organised on 23rd September, 2019 in the old seminar hall.
All the participants received certificates of participation. The winning teams
were awarded cash prizes, along with certificates and a book called ‘Great
Minds on India'. The cash prizes were as follows:
1st prize -700/-to each Team member
2nd prize 500/- to each team member
3rd prize 300/- to each team member
A consolation prize consisting of a pen drive (16Gb) sponsored by T.I.M.E. was
also given.
While three members of the audience was also asked questions. Those who gave the best answers received books which were also sponsored by T.I.M.E. institute. Also, each student was given a refreshment coupon worth twenty rupees.
