2.       Achieved first position in the admission test to the M.Phil. programme in Economics at the Centre for Economic Studies and Planning, JNU, New Delhi in 1985.

3.       Placed on the All-India Merit List in the ISC (plus two) examination.

4.       Editor of the school magazine for two years and member of editorial board of college wall magazine as a student.

5.       Won prizes in Fine Arts at several inter-college competitions as a student.
