Report Event Wise
On March 6th, The Finance Society (FINSHALA) of P.G.D.A.V. eve college organised their second edition of annual fest “Vittamanthan”. The event began on March 2021, at 9:30 with welcome note of convener and HOD Sh. Ramesh Kumar along with presence faculty members, office bearers and student members. There were 5 events scheduled simultaneously which immediately started after opening ceremony i.e. at 10 am. The event received registration from all over India. the individual reports of the event are given here in order.
1.CONCEPT-O-GRAPHY | 10 AM-2:30 PM
This event was based on photography. In this concepts of finance and marketing were presented through a photograph.
This event got the participation of 15 out of which top 3 were awarded and also participation e-certificates to all the participants.
1stPosition: Anurag Gupta from J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad.
2ndPosition: Avni Mittal from IIT Mandi.
3rd Position: Ayush Pradhan from ICT IOC Bhubaneswar.

2.GESCHAFTSPLAN - Reviving the Failed Economic Sectors| 10 AM
This event was about, Reviving the Failed Economic Sectors. Participants were given Various Economic and Financial Sectors Suffering with some problem, and participants had to came with a plan which could revive the sector Along with the growth of the business.
The event got the participation of 10 in teams as well as single participant. Out of 10 participants 2 were announced as winners. Overall, the event turned out to be a great success.

2nd Position: Veeraghavan D and team from Narsee Monjee Institute Management Studies, Mumbai.

3.REPORT- GENUS-O-VITT (RACE AT YOUR OWN PACE)
The event was held on 6th march, 2021 and it consisted of 3 rounds. Participants were allowed to either play solo or as a team of 2 members.
ROUND 1- It was conducted on a D2C platform on 5th March,2021 which had a total participation of 460 participants from all over India. It was an elementary quiz round with 20 questions revolving around the dimensions of finance and business sectors in which Top 15 teams qualified for the next round.
ROUND 2- On 6th march 2021, Saturday, at 10:30 A.M. it got started and was conducted on Google Classroom. It was a crossword round from different finance related facts. Top 6 teams qualified for round 3.
ROUND 3- In this round all the participants were given two financial products and were required to combine those products and make a new product with a different utility. Top 6 teams were required to prepare presentations on their new product. The final round started at 11:45 A.M. and ended at 1:30 P.M.
Top 3 teams were announced as winners and they bagged the cash prizes. All the participants were given E-Certificates.

4.THE SIGHT FOR RIGHT | 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM
This event was a Virtual Case Study competition based on Success Stories, Failed Startups and other topics related to the field of Finance.
This event was conducted in Three Rounds:
· The Preliminary Round - The Preliminary Round was a quiz competition and was conducted through D2C platform. We received almost 570 registrations for this Round.
· The Second Round - Almost 570 teams registered for the event out of which only 20 teams could make it to this round and We divided them into 4 Groups namely Group A, Group B, Group C and Group D. We provided different Case Videos for Different Groups and asked Questions related the Case. The Teams were supposed to answer the questions in the form of PPT. Teams having the Best PPT from each Group were selected for the Final Round.
· The Final Round - The Final Round was Conducted on Google Meet. Top 4 Teams competed in this Round. In this Round, Participants Presented PPT in front of our judges. Out of the Top 4 Teams, Top 3 Teams were selected as winners.

5. SCAM-O-QUIZ | 12:30 PM - 3:00 PM
This event was a quiz competition based on the famous series Scam 1992 - The Harshad Mehta Story.
This event was conducted in Three Rounds:
· The Preliminary Round - The Preliminary Round was conducted through Google form. We received almost more than 250 registrations for this Round.
· The Second Round - The Second Round was conducted through the WhatsApp group. We shared the link of Google Drive containing locked pdfs. The answer of one pdf was the password of the another. Top 25 Participants competed in this Round.
· The Final Round - The Final Round was Conducted on Google Meet. Top 10 participants competed in this Round. This Round contained various fun filled sub rounds. Out of the Top 10 participants, Top 3 participants were selected as winners.

After completion of all the events we had a closing ceremony in which vote of thanks was given by our teacher coordinator Dr. Kewal Singh and event ends on a great note.
